BD brings to Partners Asia a wealth of experience in Myanmar in the humanitarian, education, and grants management sectors. After Cyclone Nargis, she participated in aid relief with the Myanmar Council of Churches, which fueled a desire to help the most vulnerable communities throughout the country. She taught at Step Centre for Academics, and has volunteered and advocated for Chin People, particularly youth, through voter education training, the Charity Initiative Network (CHIN), Chin Education Network (CEN), and One Chin Organization (OCO).
In addition to working as a project coordinator and trainer, BD acts as a translator. She speaks fluent Burmese, Chin, English and some French. BD received her Bachelor of Science from Dagon University and her Bachelor of Arts from the Myanmar Institute of Theology.
