Laila has worked with the nonprofit sector for 8 years. She has a passion for international development and empowering vulnerable communities by working with local leaders. She has worked with international communities to build water wells in Afghanistan, Cambodia and Pakistan. She also helped build and fund a women’s shelter in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala. Her experience includes development operations, prospect management, data and analytics, and portfolio management. She holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Peace Studies from Loyola Marymount University.
